Why astrology is not a science?

Eyebrows raised? read the question again.

There are mis-beliefs more than beliefs about astrology. But still people visit astrologers for solutions on their problems when all other scientific methods fail. These mis-beliefs starts from the moment they read their birth horoscope casted by some family astrologer or printout taken from some astrology software in a cybercafe, that has predictions about one's life. When people compare these pages with their real-life events and understand that events happened in their life does not matches with their birth horoscope, its natural for them to come to this conclusion that Astrology is not a science and more over its not perfect at all. But then one should think about this again.

If its not a science then why it has lasted for so many centuries. Nothing is immortal in this world. The things, technology, culture, lifestyle, fashion that does not fits in this world, which is not perfect has not lasted for so long. Even scientific theories that were considered correct were proven wrong afterwards and were changed. If astrology is not a science and perfect in its sense, then how it has survived for so long?

Marriage.. When?

This Jataka showed his birth chart to me to know about his Marriage. His parents were trying hard for his marriage for last couple of years but it was not getting materialized. The Chart has a "Kal-Sapra Yoga" and he feared that he will never get married. He was trying all the remedies and Shanti's that were told to him by various Jyotishi's.

As the question is related to Marraige, we need to check 7th house sub-lord which is Saturn in this case. It is clear that there will be delay in marriage as Saturn is a sub-lord of 7th house.

Desire of second child..

When i was in Nashik for a holiday, one of my mother's friend asked me about her Sister staying in Patna. Her sister wanted a second child but there wish was not getting fulfilled for a long time. I told her that let her sister ask me this question on phone and then I'll do astrological analysis of it. She did as I told and her sister asked me this question next day.

I returned back to Pune and after some days, when I got time, I erected the time chart for her question. The date was 31st January 2005 and time was 10:09 AM. The analysis of the chart is as follows:

द्वितीय संतती.. कधी?

नाशिकला असतांना, माझ्या आईच्या मैत्रिणीने तिच्या बहिणीसंबंधी तिला द्वितीय संतती कधी होईल असा प्रश्न विचारला. त्या साठी त्यांनी बरेच प्रयत्न करुन पहिले होते पण पदरी निराशाच पडत होती. मी त्यांना सांगितले की, बहीणीला फोन करुन प्रश्न विचारायला सांगा व त्याप्रमाणे तिने केले.

नंतर सवडी प्रमाणे साधारण 2 आठवड्यानंतर मी पुण्याला माझ्या घरी या प्रश्नासाठी प्रश्नकुंडली मांडली. वेळ होती सकाळी 10.09 वाजता, 31/1/2005 रोजी.

1. प्रश्नकुंडलीत पंचमात कर्क राशी, संतती संबंधी इच्छा दर्शविते, तसेच सप्तमातील चंद्र द्वितीय संतती दाखवतो. चंद्र प्रश्नांकीत भावांशी संबंधीत आहे.


2. मीन लग्न असुन, लग्नेश गुरु सप्तमात. लग्नेशाची लग्नावर दृष्टी. लग्न बलवान - इच्छा पुर्ण होईल.


3. पंचमाचा उप-नक्षत्र स्वामी बुध (द्वित्व) रविच्या नक्षत्रात बुध स्वत: लाभात असुन रवी सुद्धा लाभात स्थित आहे. त्यामुळे बुध लाभाचा बलवान कार्येश.


4. बुधाची दृष्टी पंचमावर, तसेच संततीकारक गुरुची दृष्टी बुधावर व लाभावर 5वी दृष्टी.


5. संततीचा कारक गुरु स्वत: सप्तमात (द्वितीय संतती).


6. लाभाचा (इच्छापुर्ती) उप-नक्षत्र स्वामी सुध्दा बुधच.

Health of Father

On 12th January 2010 at around 10.00AM in the morning, one of my Friend Mahendra called me from Dhule and ask me to check his father's health through astrology. His father was admitted to hospital for last 15 days & there was no sign of recovery. He said that now they all are very worried. He asked me if we can check whether he will recover or not. He also mentioned that his father was hospitalized 3 times before also but recovered.

I told him after 1-2 hours I will call him back after erecting a horary chart.
